The TSSB is committed to promoting the training and development of staff who are working with children, adults and families. The TSSB supports the view that a combination of single and multi-agency training underpins best practice in early support and safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults, and that this can help achieve better outcomes for vulnerable families. The programme below is open to all practitioners organisations working with children, adults and families in Trafford.
Identifying your learning needs.
Individual professionals should identify their learning needs and which courses are appropriate to them with their manager, based on their job roles and contact with service users. Each level of learning gives an indication of their target audiences. Our learning and development opportunities are only effective if it impacts on people’s practice – so we ask all participants and their managers on TSSB multi agency courses to take responsibility for ensuring that they reflect on the learning from courses and implement any changes in their practice.
Although we have highlighted some courses as Child or Adult focussed we do encourage a whole family approach.
